Cancellation Policy

1. Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your WritingBuddy subscription at any time. When you cancel:

• You will retain access to all features until the end of your current billing period
• Your subscription will not automatically renew
• No further charges will be made to your payment method
• You can resubscribe at any time

2. How to Cancel Your Subscription

You can cancel your subscription through your account settings:

1. Log in to your WritingBuddy account
2. Go to Settings → Billing
3. Click "Cancel Subscription"
4. Confirm your cancellation

Alternatively, you can email us at support@writingbuddy.ai and we will cancel your subscription for you.

3. No Refund Policy

All subscription payments are final and non-refundable. This includes:

• Monthly subscription payments
• Annual subscription payments
• Partial billing periods after cancellation

We encourage you to carefully review the features and pricing before subscribing. If you have questions about our service, please contact us before purchasing.

4. Monthly Subscriptions

For monthly subscriptions:

• Your subscription renews automatically each month
• Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date to avoid the next charge
• After cancellation, you keep access until the end of your current monthly period

5. Annual Subscriptions

For annual subscriptions:

• Annual subscriptions are billed once per year
• You may cancel at any time, but no partial refunds will be issued
• After cancellation, you keep access until the end of your annual period
• Cancel at least 24 hours before your annual renewal date to avoid the next charge

6. Automatic Renewal

Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You will be charged the then-current subscription rate. We will send you a reminder email before your subscription renews.

7. Account Data After Cancellation

After your subscription ends:

• Your account will be converted to a read-only state
• You can still access and export your existing documents
• You will not be able to create new documents or use AI features
• Your data will be retained for 90 days, after which it may be deleted
